Joy Vithespongse Trejo, M.A., MFT | Senior Director, Business Development
Ms. Trejo is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan to increase business revenues and profits in monitoring and evaluation projects. Her duties include partnership and relationship management as well as the development of business opportunities to market DLH Danya monitoring and evaluation capabilities to Federal and nonfederal customers. Previously at Danya, Ms. Trejo served as part of Danya's senior leadership team on the Office of Head Start National Monitoring System Support contract, working with other senior leadership and the Office of Head Start to ensure that review field operations fulfilled the requirements of the Office's federal monitoring contract.
Prior to joining Danya, Ms. Trejo served as part of the Executive Management Team of The Campagna Center and was responsible for the overall planning, development, and operations of all early childhood, family service, and community support programs. Ms. Trejo has more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit and grant management of programs providing early childhood, clinical (mental health), and case management services to at-risk families and children, including more than 6 years of experience directing Head Start and Early Head Start programs. She was honored as a White House Head Start Champion of Change in 2012.
Ms. Trejo has an M.A. in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration on Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University, a B.S. in Psychology from Tulane University, and is a licensed California Marriage and Family Therapist.
